Q&A

Not sure what to ask about your decade? Here's a start

Your 10-year luck period sets the weather for years at a time — just ask whether you're in a high or a low, and when it shifts.

These last few years have felt like wading through mud and you're wondering if you're stuck in a bad stretch.

You can askThese last few years have felt like wading through mud and I'm wondering if I'm stuck in a genuinely bad stretch — am I in a down decade right now, and when does this rough luck period actually end and turn upward?

You watched peers peak early and you're quietly hoping your big window is still ahead of you.

You can askI've watched my peers peak early and I'm quietly hoping my big window is still ahead of me — am I a late bloomer, and which decade is my golden period where things really take off?

You're in the thick of mid-life and torn between playing it safe and betting big this decade.

You can askI'm in the thick of mid-life and torn between playing it safe and betting big this decade — does my chart say this current 10-year period is one to protect what I have, or one to push hard and go for it?

You've felt stuck at the same level for years and you're desperate to know when momentum returns.

What the full report structure looks like
REPORT CONTENTS

Not just a fortune result, but a structured preview for your future.

The full report is designed to explain both why the reading points in a direction and what to do next. Start from the path you have already walked, then inspect turning points and reminders across work, money, relationships, and health.

01 / Validation

Look back at the last decade

A useful report does not rush to conclusions. It first organizes the pressures and turns you may have experienced, so you can check whether it feels true to your life.

For example: working hard, yet repeatedly spending money on family or social pressure.
02 / Focus

See the next decade’s priorities

Instead of cold good-or-bad scores, the report breaks work, money, relationships, and health into sections you can reread slowly.

For example: which years are better for preparing a house purchase, investment, or partnership.
03 / Direction

Know what can be done now

You will not be left with only a vague “I see.” The report lists what can be prepared soon and when action may be better timed.

For example: separate money into buckets, define partnership rules, and leave yourself room when buying a home.
PERSONALIZED ROUTES

The report follows the question you bring to it.

Most people are not looking for dense metaphysical terms. They want help with a real choice that feels stuck. Tell us whether you care most about work, money, relationships, or health, and the report follows that question instead of sounding like a generic template.

CAREERChange tracks, or deepen where you are?Clarify your current career position and the years that are better for trying, building, or conserving energy.
MONEYHome buying, investing, cash flow: where should the first step be?Review wealth structure, family resources, and possible risks, not only whether money can be made.
LOVEIs this relationship worth continuing, and what distance works?Look at commitment, pressure sources, and how the relationship may change through the next decade.
HEALTHWhere is the body most likely to protest? No fear tactics. Just gentle reminders about pressure points and habits you can adjust now.
The report explains the decade in stages2026-2035
2026-2028Build basics
2029-2031Evaluate
2032-2035Consolidate
The goal is not filler. It is visible reasoning.

The full report explains why certain years suit preparation, why some can move forward, and which risks should be separated from immediate actions.

Near term: complete the basic conditions such as cash flow, routines, work position, or relationship boundaries.

Mid term: evaluate opportunities such as collaboration, investment, career change, or long-term commitments.

Long term: review assets, responsibilities, and results so the decade is not arranged by feeling alone.

What is a 10-year cycle?

In Zi Wei Dou Shu, a 10-year cycle is sometimes called a major limit. It is not a prediction of one isolated event. It is a way to read the main life theme that becomes more active during a decade.

02

How is the starting age decided?

The starting age depends on the Five Element Bureau in the chart. After the first cycle begins, the chart moves through one palace every 10 years. The direction of movement is determined by traditional chart rules, including gender and yin-yang structure.

FOUR TRANSFORMS

The Four Transformations in a 10-year cycle

Hua Lu: resources and openings

The palace receiving Hua Lu often shows where resources, goodwill, or opportunities are easier to access during the cycle.

Hua Quan: drive and control

Hua Quan shows where you may push harder, want more control, or take on more responsibility. It brings momentum, but also pressure.

Hua Ke: reputation and support

Hua Ke points to areas where reputation, recognition, or helpful people can stabilize the decade.

Hua Ji: friction and unfinished lessons

Hua Ji marks the area that needs more care. It does not mean failure; it means the theme should be handled with more attention and fewer shortcuts.

EXAMPLES

Examples

Example 1:

A mid-career employee had a stable income cycle, then entered a new cycle and began experiencing chronic fatigue and poor sleep. The chart suggested that the focus had shifted from earning to body signals. After adjusting routines and getting regular checkups, the person felt more grounded. The point was not “you are destined to get sick,” but “this decade asks you to take care of your body earlier.”

Example 2:

A 45-year-old teacher entered a cycle connected with the Career Palace and Hua Lu. She had been comfortable staying put, but the decade brought stronger professional ambition. She eventually built an education training business. This is a classic example of career opportunity becoming more active in the cycle.
