Why build this now?

Large language models made it easier to ask questions in natural language, but traditional astrology and destiny systems still need a reliable foundation. A confident answer is not very useful if the chart behind it was calculated incorrectly.

That is why sǹg-miā treats calculation and explanation as two different jobs. The system handles calendars, chart structure, and special rules first. AI is then used where it is strongest: organizing language and making the reading easier to understand.

Why start with Zi Wei Dou Shu?

Zi Wei Dou Shu is a detailed system for looking at personality, relationships, work, money, family patterns, and timing cycles in one chart. It is rich, but it can feel hard to enter if you are new to it.

sǹg-miā starts here because Zi Wei Dou Shu rewards structure. When the chart is calculated carefully and the context is organized well, the reading can become practical instead of vague.

The name

sǹg-miā comes from Taiwanese Hokkien for fortune telling. It also sounds close to the word for play.

That fits the mood we want: less pressure, more curiosity. Not playing with fate, but learning how to move with it more consciously.

How it works

Before a reading is generated, sǹg-miā calculates the chart with fixed rules. This includes lunar calendar conversion, leap months, early and late Zi hour handling, true solar time, birthplace longitude correction, and twin-chart cases.

After that, the chart is translated into readable guidance. The result is meant to feel less like decoding a wall of terminology and more like having a structured conversation with your own chart.
